I love the art of an attentively crafted cocktail and the storytelling that so often accompanies it. I try to create cocktails that impart a sense of place and season. I am particular when choosing my gin, rum, bourbon, or mezcal and favor those produced in small batches, in interesting places, by people passionate about each bottle. I incorporate many seasonal ingredients (and often wild) into my mixing and shaking, whether in the form of a syrup, a muddle, a shrub, a steep or simply a garnish.
